Eating Disorder Support Group


WHAT: Eating Disorder Support Group (one evening and one morning of each month - to be confirmed).

WHEN: 5.45pm-7.15pm (monthly) and 11.30am-1pm (monthly). Days to be confirmed.

WHERE: Glasgow city centre .

DETAILS: anyone over 16, with any form of eating disorder or difficulty with food/eating welcome. See here for more information. Groups are regulated, confidential, supportive and have been going since Spring 2010!

1st-28th February 2018

Discount: £5 off All One-to-One Therapy Sessions in February


During February, we will be offering £5 off all one-to-one therapy appointments made. This offer applies to self-referring clients only and when the code FF2018 is quoted when booking.


£5 will be deducted when you pay for appointments in cash or via Paypal. This offer is valid between Thursday 1st February to Wednesday 28th February. Fees return to normal after this. Feel free to get in touch here for more information. Thanks!

Therapist Peer Support Group


The CBT'ers Club will be hosting their next Therapist Peer Support Group Meeting on Saturday 10th February 2018. This constitutes 2.5 hours of CPD. Certificates of Participation will be distributed.

Understanding Eating Disorders 1: Basics and Beyond

Training Course


This 1-day training course was written in 2011 and aimed at anyone wishing to increase their knowledge and understanding of eating disorders. It's is an introductory course that will help you learn the basics and much more! There are more advanced courses that follow-on from this course. It's an interactive course that draws from a range of knowledge bases, including personal experiences, research, current treatment and more. Family and Friends Eating Disorder Support Group


Coming soon! We aim to start a new support group for carers, supporters, family and friends of those experiencing eating disorders and disordered eating. This group will NOT be for individuals experiencing eating disorders – only carers, supporters, family and friends – we have a separate support group for those personally experiencing eating disorders.

Topic and Discussion Gathering: Eating Disorders


Our sister organisation, The CBT’ers Club, are planning a Topic and Discussion Gathering specific to eating disorders this time. Previous topics have included self-harm, anxiety, depression, psychological scales and more. The focus this time will be eating disorders.

Vacancies: Support Group Facilitators


We are re-launching our established Eating Disorder Support Group, which started in May 2010. We've had a 1-year break from this and will be recruiting new Support Group Facilitators in January 2018. This is a voluntary (unpaid) role, however, you will get lots of experience and benefits from this role and have the opportunity to work with qualified psychotherapists/clinicians. More information when we start advertising for the role officially in January. We will also be recruiting volunteer Group Facilitators later in 2018 for: Eating Disorder Family and Friends Support Group; Mindfulness Club and Glasgow Woman's Support Group. More details soon!
