Getting started with our services is easy! Follow the steps below or feel free to get in touch if you have any questions, need any more information or need to check out something with us. We are here to help! Even if you are not sure what type of service or support you want or need, don't worry - we will discuss this via email, telephone, online or in-person via an initial Consultation Appointment.
Please see the services that we can provide other professionals and organisations with below. More information about our qualifications, practitioners and experiences can be found in the 'About' section. Of course, if there is something you would like Talking EDs to assist with, provide or offer, please get in touch and we can discuss this with you directly. We look forward to hearing from you.
Talking EDs can provide training, courses and educational programmes to the public, professionals and other organisations. We can also offer training exclusively to your own organsation.
We can set up a specific staff/employee support service offering counselling, psychotherapy and various other individual and group support for your organisation (SLA). Alternatively, staff/employees can be referred for counselling and psychotherapy on an as-and-when basis. The choice is yours.
We can provide a number of Membership opportunities, including The CBT’ers Club, the Eating Disorder Therapist Networking Group (EDTNG) and the The Therapist and Counsellor Club.
We have a comfortable, private and equipped therapy/counselling/consulting room and a meeting/workshop room in Glasgow city centre to rent on an hourly basis or for longer blocks of time. Non-therapists are also welcome to hire rooms on a regular or one-off basis too.
Insurance, EAP and Rehabilitation organisations wishing to provide quality therapeutic services to their employees, clients/customers and others are welcome to access our services too.
Clinical, Counselling and Support Supervision is extremely important in the psychotherapy and counselling professions. However, it is important in other fields and professions too.
Consulting is the service you seek to alleviate or answer a specific problem using the knowledge and experience of a professional (in this instance, a mental health and psychotherapy professional).
Our psychotherapists and counsellors can conduct mental health and emotional health assessments and produce short or in-depth report based on that assessment session.
If you require a medico-legal report, please consult a psychiatrist or clinical/counselling psychologist.
