Talking EDs can provide training, courses and educational programmes to the public, professionals and other organisations. We can also offer training exclusively to your own organsation.
Our training and courses offer professional CPD and Certificates of Attendance are provided. Training and workshops have been specially developed by mental health professionals and researchers and are evidence-and-experience-based.

We can set up a specific staff/employee support service offering counselling, psychotherapy and various other individual and group support for your organisation (SLA). Alternatively, staff/employees can be referred for counselling and psychotherapy on an as-and-when basis. The choice is yours.

We can provide a number of Membership opportunities, including The CBT’ers Club, the Glasgow and West Eating Disorders Networking Group and the Glasgow and West Therapist and Counsellor Club.
Membership allows you to connect with others who have an professional or personal interest in certain topics (e.g. eating disorders) or a professional interest in particualar areas/specialities (e.g. compassion focused therapy or cognitive behavioural therapy).

We have a comfortable, private and equipped therapy/counselling/consulting room and a meeting/workshop room in Glasgow city centre to rent on an hourly basis or for longer blocks of time. Non-therapists are also welcome to hire rooms on a regular or one-off basis too.
Rooms are equipped with various white boards, markers, fan and heater, complementary tea/coffee trolley, clocks, tissues, first aid box, free Wifi,
'Therapist Survival Kit' and much more. It offers a central location and great transport links. Please note that the office does not have disabled/limited mobility access (it's up some stairs with no lift).

We offer an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), Therapy/Counselling Referral and Rehabilitation Service to organisations wishing to provide quality therapeutic services to their employees, clients/customers and others.
Services include one-to-one talking therapies, such as CBT Therapy, Integrative Psychotherapy, Person-Centred Counselling, Guided Self-Help, Coaching and more. All one-to-one, personal services listed on this website are available to organisations. We can also provide support groups; group therapy; and supervision groups. Clinical, Counselling and Support Supervision is extremely important in the psychotherapy and counselling professions. However, it is important in other fields and professions too.
We can provide support and supervision groups and individuals in other organisations and professions, such as teaching; mental health; care workers; support work, volunteering nursing; and others.
In essence, employees involved in a role that may have an emotional or mental health impact are welcome to access support via individual supervision and support and support and supervision groups.

Consulting is the service you seek to alleviate or answer a specific problem using the knowledge and experience of a professional (in this instance, a mental health and psychotherapy professional).
Consulting can involve short term engagement on one specific topic. Longer-term consulting is often required too. The length of consulting will depend on you/your organisation’s needs, requirements and outcome goals.

Our psychotherapists and counsellors can conduct mental health and emotional health assessments and produce short or in-depth report based on that assessment session.
If you require a medico-legal report, please consult a psychiatrist or clinical/counselling psychologist.
